I’m not sure why I’ve always been drawn to the beach.

Some of my earliest memories there weren’t the best — getting stung by jellyfish, being thrown into the water by one of my uncles (that was the day I learned how to swim). But even with that, something about the beach stayed with me.

To this day, I still love it!

The way the air changes as you get closer. The smell of salt before you even see the water. Warm sand under your feet. The steady rhythm of waves moving in and out. The warmth of the ocean. The wind brushing softly across your face.

Everything about the beach feels peaceful.

Calm. Steady. Serene.
