Second Skin

Second Skin is a concentrated body oil formulated to improve skin hydration, barrier function, and surface smoothness after cleansing and exfoliation – including use after Sugar + Lather or any gentle wash.

When applied to clean, damp skin, the oil absorbs gradually and integrates into the skin’s lipid matrix, helping replenish moisture that is commonly lost during washing. By supporting the skin’s natural barrier, Second Skin helps reduce post-wash dryness, improve suppleness, and maintain hydration over time.

The oil blend was developed to support the skin barrier and help the skin retain moisture beyond the moment of application. Instead of a quick, slippery feel that fades, Second Skin provides lasting comfort and a natural, healthy glow as moisture settles into the skin.

Macadamia oil contains high levels of oleic and palmitoleic acids, fatty acids naturally found in human sebum. This allows it to integrate efficiently into the skin’s lipid barrier, helping improve elasticity and support long-term moisture retention.

Avocado oil is rich in vitamins A, D, and E and essential fatty acids that support barrier repair and skin regeneration, helping relieve dryness and restore suppleness to skin that feels depleted or stressed.

Meadowfoam seed oil helps slow transepidermal water loss (TEWL) by forming a stable, breathable lipid layer on the skin. Its exceptional oxidative stability supports prolonged hydration and helps maintain the conditioned feel of the skin.

Shea nut oil delivers antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support that helps calm irritation, reduce dryness, and reinforce barrier integrity, contributing to skin that feels balanced and protected.

With continued use, Second Skin leaves the skin feeling smoother and visibly healthier — hydrated skin with improved texture and a natural, well-conditioned, resilient appearance.

How to Use
Apply to clean, wet or damp skin before drying. Smooth over the body and gently pat dry. 

For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
