She was always awake before the rest of us — sunlight slipping through the curtains, gospel hymns playing softly on the radio, the Sunday newspaper spread across the kitchen table. No matter the weather, she would open a window to “let the stale air out,” as she called it. Some mornings smelled like pancakes and bacon before church. Other mornings were quieter — just the steady hum of hymns and the turning of newspaper pages. Soon we’d be getting dressed, her Sunday hat resting nearby like her crown for the day. It was never rushed. Never loud. Just a slow, faithful beginning to the week.

This bar is my tribute to those mornings — a gentle reset, a familiar comfort, and a reminder that the quiet rituals often shape us most. Familiar. Faithful. Enduring.

Made with a nourishing goat milk soap base and enriched with Brazilian yellow clay, Sunday Morning creates a creamy, comforting lather with a naturally warm, sunlit tone. Goat milk is naturally rich in lactic acid, vitamins, and fatty acids that help support the skin’s moisture barrier while promoting a soft, balanced feel after cleansing.

Brazilian yellow clay is a gentle, mineral-rich clay traditionally valued for its ability to lightly purify and refine the skin’s surface without stripping away natural moisture. It helps lift away surface buildup and excess oil while supporting a smoother, more even-looking texture.

Colloidal oatmeal is naturally high in beta-glucans and lipids, it is widely recognized for its soothing properties and its ability to support dry or delicate skin, leaving the complexion feeling calm and conditioned.

Castor oil contributes to a dense, stable lather that cushions the skin during cleansing, while sweet almond oil — rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids — enhances softness and improves surface smoothness without heaviness.
