My grandmother had a remedy for everything.

When something felt off — she was undoubtedly the first call. It didn’t matter what it was — a cough, a headache, a stomachache, something you couldn’t quite explain — she had something for it. Not from a store shelf, not from a prescription, but from experience. From what had been passed down to her, and what she carried forward with discernment.

A sore throat meant warm tea, lemon, and honey, or gargling with saltwater. A cold in your chest meant Vicks rubbed in deep before bed. An upset stomach meant peppermint. A cough was surely a teaspoon of Father's John cod liver oil. A teething baby? Whiskey on the gums. And if all else failed, an onion in the sock at night would do the trick!

Some of it sounded strange. Some of it made you pause. But somehow, it always worked. 

This bar is my tribute to that quiet knowing — a steady kind of care that didn’t need explanation, only trust. Familiar. Certain. Restorative.

Made with a nourishing goat milk soap base and enriched with Bohemian black clay, the Remedy Bar creates a smooth, balanced lather with a naturally soft gray tone. Goat milk is naturally rich in lactic acid, vitamins, and fatty acids that help support the skin’s moisture barrier while promoting a soft, comfortable feel after cleansing.

Bohemian black clay is a mineral-rich clay valued for its ability to gently draw out impurities and surface buildup while maintaining the skin’s natural balance. It helps refine and clarify without over-drying, leaving the skin feeling clean yet conditioned.

Not harsh. Not complicated. Just steady.
